Basic beliefs can be taught as part of a Bible story by selecting a simple truth and weaving it into the story. This can be done almost in passing, not that the Bible truth is less important, but because it forms a natural part of the story.

Whether focusing on the power of God as He parted the Red Sea or the love of Jesus as He healed a lame man, these simple truths are the foundation upon which children will build their ongoing relationship with the Lord.
